MHA IB ACIO II Cut Off Marks 2021:- Intelligence Bureau of India has conducted the examination for Assistant Central Intelligence Officer recently and they have published the merit list on 1st April 2021. This exam was for group 2 executives and after clearing the written exam you have to go through the interview and document verification step to be an officer in Intelligence Bureau.
The students have waited for a long time for the declaration of result and finally, they have come to know whether they have cleared tier 1 of this prestigious examination or not.
MHA ACIO Grade II Result 2021
The post declared by the Ministry of Home Affairs was the Assistant Central Intelligence Officer Grade-II executive for the Intelligence Bureau of India. Around 2,000 posts are vacant and that is why they are conducting an extensive process of recruitment. The application started on 19th December 2020 and it ended on 9th January 2021.
The selection process is based on the written exam and interview. Two different written exams are there. The first one is the objective type which had 100 questions of 1 mark each and you needed to complete it within one hour. The minimum qualifying marks for this section was different for each category.
after that you have to go through the next written exam where you need to answer descriptive questions within 30 minutes and the qualifying marks for this part is 33% for every category out there.

The cut off marks of this exam are calculated according to different factors. One of the most important factors is the number of vacancies they have posted. If the vacancy is more the cut-off will be less because they have to make sure that more people should clear the exam.
The next factor is the number of candidates who appeared in the examination. So many people apply for exams but at last, many people don’t even appear on the test day.
So after calculating the number of people who appeared in the exam the cut off marks is decided. The more people will appear in the exam the cut-off will go higher.
Lastly, the performance of all the candidates is a big factor for the cut off calculation. If a particular section is tough then it will be calculated whether it was tough for everyone or just a few. If it is tough for everyone then the cut off marks will be lower for sure.
The Basic Information about the Exam
Before appearing in the Intelligence Bureau examination you need to make sure that you know all the small details of the exam process. Because if you don’t know them properly then it will not be possible for you to perform well. The exam has several sections of aptitude, English, reasoning and current affairs.
And if you want to perform well then you have to be strong in every section. There is no sectional cut-off but you have to make sure that you can answer most number of questions correctly. Moreover, this exam also had negative marking. So if you don’t know any of the questions you should not attempt that at all.
Because it may reduce your chances even more. After the publication of the merit list, they are going to conduct the second written test where you have to answer descriptive questions.
For this exam, your language skill should be strong enough to form a compact written piece to get the minimum cut-off marks. Lastly, they will combine all the scores and will call you for the interviews for the final selection.
